Overview

Indra Energy is a leading independent retail energy company providing electricity, natural gas and renewable energy options to residential and commercial customers across 9 States and Washington DC in 64 utility markets.

Indra Energy is currently seeking a Jr. Developer to add to our growing team. Indra Energy’s position as Jr. Developer reports to the Director of IT and will aid in the development and evolution of all our Tech related projects, including our databases, web development, ERP and other items.

Duties:

Requirement gathering for new and ongoing projects
Project sketching and mock-up for approval and commencement
Coding and sandboxing on local and/or remote architecture
Deployment and migration to active production architecture
Maintaining and enhancing system modules
Undertaking regular code review and research
Assembling component documentations
Continuing education, training and skillset improvement

Qualifications:

Professional and proactive work ethic
Determined to grow professionally
Bachelor’s Degree desired

Experience required:

Minimum 1-2 years programming

If enrolled in a 100% Renewable Energy plan with Indra Energy, one hundred percent (100%) of your electricity usage will be paired with renewable energy certificates generated from renewable or alternative energy sources in the United States, which may include wind, solar, hydro or any other zero-emission sources which have been qualified as such. PJM Gats for customers in NJ, PA, MD, VA, IL, DC, DE territories, or via ISO — New England for customers in MA; the RECs are not generated in the State of Illinois. The amount of RECs that exceed any mandatory renewable portfolio or clean standard requirements may be generated from renewable or alternative energy sources located anywhere in the United States. Indra will purchase RECs in the same calendar year as your electricity usage and retire them in a regional generation attribute system. If you select a natural gas product, one hundred percent (100%) of your natural gas usage will be matched with carbon offsets.
